AlphaRNG V1.2 Now in Production, Adding RSA-3072 Support

We are pleased to announce that AlphaRNG V1.2 is now in production.

What’s new in V1.2:

RSA-3072 session key exchange - in addition to the existing RSA-2048 and RSA-1024 options, giving you a stronger asymmetric cipher for establishing the encrypted, authenticated USB session. A unique per-device RSA-3072 public key - shipped alongside the existing unique RSA-2048 public key, so you can pin your session to your specific device’s 3072-bit key instead of the built-in one.

To use RSA-3072 from the command line, pass -p RSA3072 to alrng (or alperftest, alseqgen, and entropy-server on Windows) - RSA1024 and RSA2048 remain available the same way. From the C/C++ API, request it via RsaKeySize::rsa3072 and from the C wrapper API, use rsa_3072_key.

Note: RSA-3072 requires an AlphaRNG V1.2 device and the latest software kit. Devices manufactured prior to V1.2 continue to support RSA-2048 and RSA-1024 as before.
