The source code for all TectroLabs software (drivers, APIs, and diagnostic utilities) is published on GitHub, so you can review it before installation. Windows releases include prebuilt binaries; on Linux, FreeBSD, and macOS, build from source with make.

AlphaRNG software kit

Includes:

  • Command-line diagnostic and entropy-retrieval tools (alrng, alrngdiag, alperftest, alseqgen)
  • C/C++ API with an encrypted and authenticated session layer (RSA-3072/2048/1024, AES-256/128-GCM, HMAC)
  • C wrapper API for C-based applications
  • Sample code (C and C++)
  • Windows only: a DLL for integration from C#, VB, Excel, MATLAB, Delphi, and other languages, plus a shared entropy-server for concurrent access from multiple applications

Platform support: Linux (x86, x64, ARM), FreeBSD 12/13/14, and macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon), built from source; Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016/2019 (64-bit), with prebuilt binaries included.

SwiftRNG software kit

One software kit covers all SwiftRNG models: LE, standard, Zn, and Pro. The hardware and USB protocol are compatible across the line, so there is nothing model-specific to download.

Includes:

  • Command-line diagnostic and entropy-retrieval tools, including cluster-mode variants for running multiple devices together (swrng, swdiag, bitcount, swperftest, and their -cl cluster counterparts)
  • C API and C++ wrapper, with cluster support for aggregating throughput across multiple devices
  • Windows only: a DLL for integration from C#, VB, Excel, Delphi, and MATLAB, plus a shared entropy-server for concurrent access from multiple applications

Platform support: Linux (x86, x64, ARM), FreeBSD 12/13/14, and macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon), built from source; Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016/2019 (64-bit), with prebuilt binaries included.

MicroRNG software kit

Includes the mcrng and mcdiag command-line utilities and a C++ sample for reading random bytes from a MicroRNG over SPI on a Raspberry Pi or other Linux-based single-board computer. Python samples for UART mode on Linux and Windows are provided in the MicroRNG quick start guides.
